He completed his specialisation in rheumatology and a PhD in immunology at UCLouvain, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centre in Dallas, Texas. His clinical and scientific career has focused on the management and better understanding of systemic and inflammatory rheumatic diseases. In the early 2000s, he also established a specialist paediatric rheumatology clinic at the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, a field to which he is particularly committed. Dr Lauwerys served as President of the Royal Belgian Society of Rheumatology. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications. -

Who am I?
My name is Elisa, and I hold a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. During my studies, I gained experience working with children who have difficulties with spoken language, written language and logical-mathematical skills. I have also developed expertise in oromyofunctional disorders.
From the week of 3 March, I will be taking on some of Pascaline’s patients and will be available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 3.30 pm to 4 pm until around 7 pm. With a highly adaptable approach and a keen ear, I am committed to providing caring support, centred on the needs of each child. My aim is to use all the necessary tools to help them overcome their difficulties and support their development.
Fees, set at €37.15 per patient, will be collected centrally by the practice reception.
What do I do?
I carry out speech and language therapy assessments and provide treatment for children and adolescents in the following areas:
- Oral language disorders
- Written language disorders (reading and spelling)
- Oro-myofunctional disorders (abnormal swallowing, mouth breathing, speech disorders)

Margot DUCRUET
I offer two main types of consultation: for adults and for children.
Consultations for adults consist of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment evaluating various cognitive functions (long- and short-term memory, working memory, executive functions, attention, praxis, etc.). The assessment will be carried out over two 90-minute sessions and includes taking a medical history, administering the tests, marking the tests, writing the report and sending it to the referring doctors.
Consultations for children can take several forms:
An IQ assessment only for the purpose of claiming reimbursement for speech therapy sessions (the IQ assessment, marking and a brief conclusion), which will take just one 1½-hour consultation;
Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments (in cases of suspected attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, academic difficulties, or in more medical contexts) for children aged 6 to 16 (long- and short-term memory, working memory, executive and attentional functions, praxias, etc., and IQ assessment), which will take place over four 1½-hour consultations (also including a medical history, the administration of tasks, marking, drafting the report and a personalised list of support measures, presenting the conclusions and, finally, liaising with the school and/or referring doctors if necessary).
I work closely with other healthcare professionals, as I firmly believe in a multidisciplinary approach to providing the best care for my patients. Together, we will develop a holistic and personalised treatment plan, aimed at optimising your cognitive functioning and improving your overall well-being.
I am also registered with the Commission of Psychologists and hold a licence and accreditation issued by the Federal Public Service for Public Health. This entitles you to reimbursement from your private health insurance.

Having graduated in 2015 and holding a PhD in Psychology and Educational Sciences, specialising in cognitive psychology and neuropsychology, I carry out neuropsychological assessments for a range of conditions and offer cognitive interventions tailored to each individual.
I see patients at practices in Mons, Brussels and Nivelles.
I also carry out cognitive assessments (IQ tests) for speech therapy reimbursement and for adults.
As a trained dementia support worker, I also offer support and/or psychoeducational activities for carers and family members.

As a clinical psychologist who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I have had the opportunity, through various training placements in psychiatric units (notably at the CNP Saint-Martin in Dave and the Sainte Elisabeth Clinic in Uccle), to specialise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders and eating disorders in adolescents and adults.

Having graduated from the Institut Supérieur d’Ostéopathie de Lyon after a five-year course, I began working in a private practice in Lyon. In my ongoing quest to learn and improve myself, I went to work in Ireland to learn about other practices specific to Anglo-Saxon osteopathy, and to master therapeutic English.
I’m originally from France, but as I have a lot of family in Belgium, I headed
