- Dr Mairiaux graduated in medicine from UCL in 2013 and completed his specialisation in gastrointestinal surgery in 2019. With experience gained in Belgium and Switzerland, Dr Mairiaux treats all conditions affecting the digestive system (gallbladder, appendix, intestine, colon, stomach) and the abdominal wall (hernias, eventration). In recent years, he has specialised in obesity surgery (bariatric surgery) and thyroid surgery.
- He is a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Surgery and the Belgian Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (BeSOMS).
He operates at the Clinique Saint-Jean, 32 Boulevard du Jardin Botanique, 1000 Brussels. - He sees patients every other Friday afternoon at the Val Medical Centre
